Creating the Design

The Brief

This first stage begins with a meeting at the project location to listen and understand the exact needs and requirements of the client and to get a good feel of the space along with its character and style.  After this we create a design statement to capture our understanding of the design work involved, an initial budget for the work and the likely timescale involved.

Creating the Design

We create sample boards of wall, fabric and floor finishes as well as product images to convey our design proposals.  These are then fine tuned to further develop the design until it is perfect and the client is completely happy with it. These are accompanied by floor layouts to show furniture position and spatial planning, along with CGIs and rendered drawings to convey our vision to the client

Procurement

Once the design is approved and signed off by the client we begin the procurement procees.  Orders are placed, bespoke pieces of furniture etc are commisioned and the making of curtains, blinds and other soft furnishings begins.  The timings of each are scheduled to ensure everything is ready for the installation date and we organise the storage of items to faciltate this process.

Installation & Dressing

We project manage our installations to ensure that every item arrives on time and is beautifully installed.  We have a professional installation team with a wealth of experience to guarantee that everything runs smoothly, is unpacked carefully and that all packaging etc is removed.  We personnaly ensure that the finishing touches are in place, right down to the cushion plumping, before leaving you to enjoy your new home.

Our Fees

Our fees vary depending on your exact requirement and are as follows:

Our initial meeting is free of charge.

Design Fee.  This fee varies between £4 and £8 per square foot, depending on the complexity of the design and the level of service required.*

Design Budget.  We are often asked what the typical cost is for one of our designs.  Whilst this can vary hugely depending on each client's requirements, typically our designs cost around £75 per square foot to execute, but we are able to work within budgets above and below this spend.
